It is important to rethink the role of architecture plays during special situation, such as crisis that are caused by natural disasters. The idea is inspired by real-world example that the temporary modular hospitals are built up in a few days during the Covid time. According to context setting, humans are facing large amount of disasters that are caused by artificial and natural elements. In order to survive, the NOAH project that is to renovate the biggest vessels in the world, Triple E Class - Maersk Line container ships, into “floating islands” that can shelter survivors who are forced to leave their homelands and bring them onto the journey of searching for new territories in the post-disaster era for living. The points of the “x” form design that leads to full utilization of natural lighting and idea of program’s location arrangements that are driven by needs of natural light are emphasized.
